National City Unveils Camera Surveillance

National City Police Department have begun taking steps to limit crime and prostitution around Roosevelt Avenue. From First to Eigth Streets, the area that is infamous for its prostitution, will now be signified by yellow public monitoring signs. Federal Homeland Security Grants have allowed National City to install Day/Night, pan tilt zoom cameras on various utility poles. This project was award to SSD due to the company's quality of equipment and long time track record in the San Diego Area.
